Amitabh Bachchan orders 50 Oxygen concentrators from Poland, distributes ventilators to the BMC | Hindi Movie News


Bollywood celebrities have stepped up to contribute towards COVID-19 relied and Amitabh Bachchan has also been doing his bit for those in need. In his latest blog, the actor the government of Poland, the Mayor of the City of Wroclaw, the Ambassador of India at Warsaw and the LOT Polish Airlines for accommodating his order of 50 oxygen concentrators.

Big B revealed that the Indian Consul in Wroclaw stepped forward to send him a portable O2 concentrator for his personal emergency use, but the actor discouraged him and stated that he would rather donate the same to institutes in India that was in immediate need of the same. During this conversation, Amitabh Bachchan shared that the Indian Consul in Wroclaw helped him with details of a Polish Company that was making oxygen concentrators. “I immediately placed an order for 50 Oxygen Concentrators, which were blocked for me by him, since the equipment was in short supply and was being manufactured and sold out rather rapidly,” informed the veteran actor.

He also revealed that he has placed an order for 20 ventilators, 10 of which were delivered to the BMC and a few Municipal Hospitals in Mumbai while the balance 10 are expected to be delivered by the end of this month.
