Summing up his journey so far, Vijay told ETimes, “I think if you start looking back, you kind of freeze! It’s like two different lives and somewhere it is true, I think I’ve lived many lives in this life. I’ve been various versions, been various people; you change so much, and your life changes so much. It is like another life, I have no other way to describe it. I don’t look back much because it freezes me; it feels almost impossible. I just look forward and look at what I’m doing, and where I want to be, what I want to do. And I just keep going at it.”
Besides the big screen, Vijay has been enjoying a fan-following of 11 million users on Instagram. Speaking about his presence on social media, Vijay said, “I share with my fans what I want them to know. I take them along on my journey whenever I think they need to be a part of it. I like them to be part of the journey.”
Ask him about trolls and Vijay confesses that he gives little thought to them. “Positivity and negativity is all of it is part of being a public figure and popular. There will come a day when I won’t matter. I feel everything is temporary. My career is also not going to last, there will be a day when I won’t be acting, and on that day, if I will talk about politics or if I release a picture of me, or if I talk about a film, no one is going to care. It lasts, while it lasts; the day it is gone I’ll miss it. So, I quite enjoy all the positivity and negativity. Whatever is there on social media, it’s fun,” signed off the actor.
