BLACKPINK’s ‘As If It’s Your Last’ crosses 1 Billion hits; becomes first ever K-Pop stars to achieve this feat | K-pop Movie News


South Korean superstars BLACKPINK has added another page to the record books by becoming the first-ever K-pop group to have four songs in the 1 Billion club.

Their 2017 hit single ‘As If It’s Your Last‘ crossed the 1 Billion views mark on YouTube. The girls celebrated the huge achievement by taking to their official handle to pen a note of love and appreciation to their fans.

“BLINKs worldwide, thank you so much!” read a statement on YG Entertainment’s handle.

Lisa, Jisoo, Jennie and Rose entered the 1 Billion hits club with their videos ‘Ddu-du Ddu-du‘, ‘Kill This Love‘ and ‘Boombayah‘.

In February, they became the only K-pop group to have a video (‘Ddu-du Ddu-du’) pass 1.5 billion views.

It was only early this month, that BTS beat the girls to record the fastest 1 Billion views on YouTube for their 2020 summer hit ‘Dynamite‘. The song crossed the mark in just 7 months.
