Looking back at the film, the actress says, ”It feels like yesterday. These 10 years was a life lived within this life. Honestly, none of us thought it would work the magic. But we were just so honest and true in doing what we did, maybe that’s how it transcended on screen too.”
Speaking about why fans connected to the story, Ishita adds, ”Nothing of that was ever shown before. We gave a whole new perspective to a feeling which was commonly felt amongst most of us. But had never been penned down. And perhaps with a new fresh cast, it made every guy in the audience see himself in those three characters at some point in the film. It was relatable.”
In 2015, a sequel to ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’ was released. The actress was also seen in the second part, in which she was paired with Omkar Kapoor. Post that, she featured in ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’, which minted more than Rs 100 crore at the box office.
