While the finale is scheduled to broadcast today at 10 pm KST, the cast of ‘Taxi Driver’ has now shared their closing comments with an entertainment portal.
Lee Je-hoon who essayed the role of former special forces officer, Kim Do-gi expressed that he still can’t believe that the series is now coming to an end. Thanking all the viewers, he further added, “Personally, I would really like the entire production staff of ‘Taxi Driver,’ and all the characters including prosecutor Kang Ha Na, to come back together and continue the stories of Rainbow Taxi.”
Actress Esom who was seen as a passionate prosecutor Kang Ha-na, thanked everyone for their love and revealed that she is happy to be a part of the ‘great project’ as she learned a lot in her journey. “I think that ‘Taxi Driver’ will stay with me as a project I’ll remember for a long time. It’s a difficult time right now, so I was happiest to hear that people got a sense of refreshment from watching ‘Taxi Driver.” she shared.
A thankful Kim Eui-sung wrote on his social media handle, “It felt awkward for me to play a role for the first time in a while that didn’t get me cursed out.”
Pyo Ye-jin aka the hacker Ahn Go-eun recalled the heartache she had to go through to essay her character. However, grateful and proud to work with her co-stars, she also said, “This drama will stay with me as a special project for which I had a lot of affection.”
On the other hand, senior actor Jang Hyuk-jin promised to return with more projects in the future after the love and success of ‘Taxi Driver’,
Bae Yoo-ram signed off by saying that filming for ‘Taxi Driver’ felt like a never-ending process to him, however, it’s hard for him to believe that it’s over now. He also credited the director for the safety of the cast and crew, owing to the COVID-19 outbreak.
