Naseeruddin Shah stepped out for an evening walk on Wednesday but soon returned home after he was instructed to avoid stepping out by the Mumbai Police. ETimes paparazzi captured the veteran actor on his usual walk at Pali Hill, but abiding by the instructions issued by the cops, Naseeruddin Shah was seen leaving. A source revealed to ETimes that Naseeruddin Shah, without any hesitation, instantly took a U-turn when the police started instructing everyone to avoid walks due to COVID protocols.

Naseer is often spotted on evening walks avoiding paps and minding his own business as he walks around the city roads with gusto. Check out his latest tryst with the cops, captured by ETimes paps.

Naseeruddin Shah regularly steps out for a walk twice or thrice a week. Last year the veteran actor was snapped with wife Ratna Pathak Shah on an evening walk during lockdown amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Since the couple stays in Bandra, Naseeruddin and Ratna Pathak Shah are often spotted at the popular Carter Road promenade.

Naseeruddin Shah, who is a recipient of numerous National Film Awards, is not just an ace when it comes to films but is also a popular theatre personality. In 2020, the actor returned to stage after eight long months due to the pandemic. He returned to Prithvi Theatre to perform Gabriel Emanuel’s ‘Einstein’, which was directed by actress-wife Ratna Pathak Shah. During lockdown the actor had staged performances online. Speaking about the same, he had told BT, “Nothing can compensate for the high of being on stage in front of people, but performing without an audience has its own challenges and advantages. In time, we will conquer the challenges and figure out the advantages fully because performing online does seem to be an inescapable part of the future.”
