Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai is a cover girl now

One of world’s leading fashion magazines, Vogue has featured Pakistani activist for female education, Malala Yousafzai on the cover of the June issue of its British edition.

Malala, who is the youngest Nobel Prize laureate in the world, has graced the cover showcasing her trademark poise.

“Thrilled and humbled to be on the cover of @britishvogue! I know the power that a young girl carries in her heart when she has a vision and a mission – and I hope that every girl who sees this cover will know that she can change the world,” wrote the activist on Instagram.

Styled by Kate Phelan, Malala looks graceful as ever in a bright red “a forest-friendly” viscose and lace shirt and headscarf by British designer Stella McCartney.

The activist accessorised her look with a subtle ring by Alice Cicolini and bold red lips.

An inside picture has Malala styled in shirtdress made of linen gauze by Michael Kors, which she has teamed up with linen trousers from Eskandar and a linen headscarf from Mai Hijabs.

We think, it’s the coming of age of the fashion magazine that has tried to proudly showcase the extraordinary life of the activist.
