“Actor Song Joong Ki resumed filming the movie ‘Bogotá’ starting on July 13,” Soompi quoted the agency.
Earlier, the film shoot of ‘Bagota’ was put on hold after Song Joong Ki was classified as a close contact of a COVID-19 positive acquaintance.
While he underwent a COVID test and was found negative for the deadly virus, the star of ‘Descendants of the Sun‘ cancelled all of his scheduled appearances and work commitments, owing to the safety amid the ongoing pandemic.
“Song tested negative, but since he had come into direct contact with the person who had tested positive, Song was placed in self-quarantine,” History D&C had shared.
Apart from this, the production of ‘Bogotá: City of the Lost’ has been halted on several occasions. The team had initially begun film shoots in Columbia before the worldwide outbreak of COVID-19.
However, due to a health crisis, production on the film was suspended only after almost 40 percent of the film had been completed. In March 2020, the cast and crew of ‘Bogota’ returned to South Korea for the best.
Following a series of reorganizations, the film team is now shooting the remaining portion in South Korea since June 2020.
