TXT’s SOOBIN reveals this interesting connection between ‘The End of The F….ing World’ and ‘0X1=LOVESONG’

The K-pop boy band TOMORROW X TOGETHER, popularly called TXT, released their second studio album ‘The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE‘ on Monday. With this, the band comprising of SOOBIN, YEONJUN, BEOMGYU, TAEHYUN and HUENINGKAI, begin the ‘Chaos Chapter’, following the success of the ‘Dream Chapter’.

While this album highlights the emotional rollercoaster these boys have gone through over the past year, their lyrics tell the story of a boy who was frozen as a result of the onslaught of the world. The band brought out this feeling of isolation in their interesting ‘FREEZE’ concept trailer. In the clip, MOAs found it impossible to miss the detail on SOOBIN’s tee.

The star featured in the video with a graphic tee that had the British drama show ‘The End of The F….ing World’ printed on it. The hunk was asked if it was a conscious decision to wear the outfit, and the reason behind it.

“I was surprised at all the things that MOA was pointing out in the video,” SOOBIN admitted while going on to say, “Before we begin working on a song, we try to watch other media that is similar to the song to try to infuse ourselves with those emotions. One of those was this show, ‘The End of The F….ing World’.

“The main characters in this TV show experience the same kind of emotions that we felt and were also common to the emotions in our song. So that is why I used this element to complete our music video.”

‘The End of The F….ing World’ follows a budding teen psychopath, James and a rebel, Alyssa hungry for adventure. The two embark on a star-crossed road trip in this darkly comic series based on a graphic novel.
