With the strict 15-day curfew in Maharashtra
, all shoots have come to a standstill, while other states continue to function with COVID-19 precautions. On Wednesday the paparazzi snapped Arjun Kapoor
and Tara Sutatria
at the airport, heading out of the city for the shoot of their next collaboration ‘Ek Villain Returns’. The duo sported black jackets bearing their name and the signature smiley from the ‘Ek Villain’ series.
While the first schedule of this Mohit Suri thriller was wrapped up in Mumbai recently, the makers have zeroed in on several scenic locales of Goa for the second schedule. “Shooting during these times is hard on the cast and crew, but they have shown fantastic resilience and team work. We are ready to roll this week. The scale and mounting of the film calls for live, scenic locales. Also, Goa has always been a character in itself in Mohit’s films. So, I am excited to see how Mohit will showcase Goa in Ek Villain Returns,” producer Ekta Kapoor had previously told IANS.
Apart from Arjun and Tara, ‘Ek Villain Returns’ also features John Abraham and Disha Patani in the lead roles. The much-awaited thriller is slated for release on February 11, 2022.
